Austin's Accomplishments
Little Austin is growing up so fast, especially having Brayden around, when you get a new baby, your youngest automatically graduates from the "baby stage" to "Big Boy". Although he used to be afraid of the potty, he now likes to sit on it, nothing has wanted to come out, but atleast we are showing some interest. He talks constantly, and LOUDLY! I am thinking he either has what I have diagnosed as " middle child syndrome", where he is trying to be heard over the oldest child and the baby, he is still trying to let us know Austin is around; or maybe he just takes after his dad or Uncle Noize, who knows. At times you don't even know he's around, but other times, well, he never yells to be mean, just to be heard. He loves to count and sing his ABC's. He loves his dinosaurs and Big Trucks! He scoots them along the ground saying "Vroom Vroom" and "Roar". Let's see, He is talking in 5-6 word sentences. example, "mommy, I don't like that", He graduated from saying "Aussie do it" to "My do it" and now "I do it." He is recognizing the concept of being big and little. The other evening he was outside helping me plant some flowers and the moon was out, however it wasn't completely dark yet, Austin was talking about the moon and I am half way listening and then I hear him say, "mommy, you bigger, you do it" So I proceed to ask "mommy do what?" and he says to me, "Touch The Moon". My heart just melted. I said, "oh Aussie, you think mommy could touch the moon?" And he just smiled and said "Yeah" with a laugh. I really enjoy Austin. He helps me see things with a new perspective, and enjoy life as a kid again. Austin absolutely loves to laugh and more than that, loves to make others laugh. He really has what we call a jokester side to him. He likes to call us by different names to make us laugh, for example, he will say to me, "Thank You Daddy" and laugh, and to HP " Love You Mommy". He loves to wrestle and if you try to hide your face and say " No Kisses" he tries with all his might to Grab your Face and Plant a Big One on you. H.P. loves that game. He loves Aussies kisses. His bedtime routine is more like a night time ritual, it's always the same. . . brush teeth, read story, sing 3 songs and THEY HAVE TO BE "You Are My Sunshine" , "Itsby Bitsy Spider" , & "Popcorn On The Apricot Tree", then get put in bed and he HAS TO HAVE one book in his bed with his Elmo doll. Then he makes you sing All 3 songs AGAIN!!! He definitely knows what he likes. He also Loves to ride his Diego bike with his Sissy and the big kids in the neighborhood. They ride up and down the sidewalk, and he thinks he fits right in! Well, those are just a few things about our little Aussie Bear. He keeps our lives excited.
